Unknown Service Line Letter

TLWC is participating in the US Environmental Protection Agency's (EPA) enhanced Lead and Copper Rule, an important national public health initiative to remove lead from America's drinking water. While TLWC does not have any known lead pipes on the utility side of the water distribution system, this multi-year EPA rule focuses on identifying water service line pipe materials, including those that are customer owned on private property.

The Lead & Copper Rule revisions require that community public water systems develop a service line inventory taht accurately identifies the material type for each service line that is delivering water to homes from the public water system.

For More Information on how to determine the material type for your service line, and for FAQs, please click this link.

We will be voting on one Board position this year, Seat ‘E’ currently held by Cameron McFaddan, and voting on changes to the Bylaws. Nominations for Seat ‘E’ will open in August, and a separate notice for the Annual Meeting will be mailed to subscribers. Further information about the Annual meeting will be provided throughout the next few weeks!
